Can anyone recommend one of these books (or another resource) for someone coming from the world of AutoCAD? I'm fluent in 3d modeling in AutoCAD and am having a tough time making the transition to sketchup.

Hi Aidan,

There is a SketchUp book in French too!

We've published the book "Créer avec SketchUp, 16 projets, de l'architecture au théâtre" in early November 2009.

This book presents 16 applications of SketchUp Pro for the professionals. This collective book has brought together authors from very different background like architecture, theatre design, book illustration, digital painting, and more.

By the way, French users are still waiting for the translation of your books in French ! Any news about that ?
